Young Explorers

Young Explorers (YE) is a programme for children up to 10 years of age meeting in our church hall during the 10 am service on the 4th Sunday of each month.
YE begins with the whole church together when everyone is welcomed by the vicar. The YE children are, after a prayer,  sent out with the adult leaders to their own time of worship and teaching.
Parents / accompanying adults may go with their child. This may help their child to be comfortable in the session especially if the family is new to Holy Trinity.
The Young Explorers go back to their parents in church at the Communion so that families can be together at this most sacred part of the service.

Younger members of the choir can go out to Young Explorers if they or their parents wish.

Young  Explorers is an opportunity for adults to get involved in working with children and we welcome expressions of interest from any adult.
In accordance with the Church of England's safeguarding policies every person working with children will be required to undertake a vetting process which may include making a safeguarding disclosure under DBS (Disclosure and Barring Scheme).

There will be opportunities for training to develop skills in teaching and working with children.

Libby Risby oversees Young Explorers. Please talk with Libby about YE and how to get involved.
