Music at Holy Trinity

Music is central to the worship at Holy Trinity Church.
Our robed choir is rebuilding and developing with children, young people and adults.
There is also a worship band which regularly leads our more modern forms of worship .

Holy Trinity Church Choir

We’d love you to join our choir at Holy Trinity.

Membership of the choirs is free.
No experience required - All are welcome.

Both choirs rehearse in term-time and are run by two very experienced musical practitioners.

Juniors (aged 6+) practice on Thursdays 6.30pm to 7.30pm. They receive tuition in singing and musical theory & work towards their RSCM medals.
They sing at 10am services on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month and at occasional special services. On the 4th Sunday they are able to attend Young Explorers for part of the service.

Adult (all voices), practice on the Thursday before the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month, from 7.00 – 8.30pm.
They sing at the 10am services on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, at optional Evensongs, and a few special services throughout the year.

Holy Trinity Worship Band

Holy Trinity’s eclectic mix of music makers includes a worship band which leads music at our regular Come One, Come All non-Eucharistic and Communion Sunday morning services.
Members of the band form occasional ensembles for other services including the Parish Healing Service and Messy Church.
The band supports the provision of services with a more modern and less formal style of music which broadens the appeal of different types of worship to those new to or exploring alternative expressions of faith.
